Plaque from the State of Michigan which was presented to the Leinonen Family. The  farm has been in the Leinonen Family for over 100 years.

The "Sauna", a Finnish tradition, is still in use today as are many of the saunas found in the area. Constructed in the mid -1970's, this is the 4th sauna built on the farm. The first sauna was a" savu sauna"; the previous three sauna's have all burned.
