Origin

In 1997 a group of people interested in preserving more than memories of the past, met and formed the Covington Township Historical Society. With the old Town Hall, donated by the Township, this group rolled up their sleeves and worked on the building, which now is known as the Covington Township Historical Museum.

With the help of many volunteers and donations of many historical artifacts from the community, the museum now offers many displays of what life was like in the past
